Cool-weather festival at Schlafly with a whole pig roasted on a spit, a chili flight, live music, yard games and bonfires with s'more kits.
Schlafly Bottleworks hosts the Full Moon Festival on Saturday, November 7, from 3 PM to 9 PM. It's built as a cool-weather evening hangout in Maplewood, and the center of it is a whole pig roasted on a spit. If you're coming for the food, that's the main draw, but there's a second course to go with it: a chili flight of three different styles, made across both the Tap Room and the Bottleworks.
Beyond the eating, the grounds are set up for a full afternoon and evening. Live music runs the whole time, and yard games are spread across the space. When it gets dark, bonfires come into play, and they're paired with s'more kits for families to work through. It's the kind of thing that works just as well if you're there with a group of friends as it does if you've got kids in tow.

There's usually a specialty beer on tap for the festival that you can't find anywhere else, so that's one more thing to keep in mind if you're planning your visit. Between the roasted pork, the chili flight, the live music, the yard games, and the bonfires, it's a long stretch of things to do in one spot. The festival runs from 3 PM to 9 PM on Saturday, November 7, at Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood.
