Free Festive Friday concert by the Town and Country Symphony Orchestra at the St. Louis Art Museum, with open seating.
Festive Friday returns to the St. Louis Art Museum on Friday, November 27, as part of the Town and Country Symphony Orchestra's 2025-26 season. It's one of the museum's broader Friday night offerings, which run alongside free concerts, tours, gallery activations, and art-making activities throughout the building.
This particular concert is part of a season that stretches from September through April. The orchestra opened the year with a program of music by women composers, ranging from Fanny Mendelssohn's Overture in C Major to Stephanie Berg's Study in Red. Since then, they've put on a Halloween concert on October 26 featuring the premiere of John Meurer's Deuces, Treys, and One-Eyed Jacks: A Cowboy Symphony. On December 12, they'll be back at the museum with Troika from Prokofiev's Lieutenant Kijé and Holst's In the Bleak Midwinter, and the season will close with Thomas Pandolfi playing Gershwin's Concerto in F.
The original program had included local jazz and blues artist Lady J. Huston and SLSO's Erin Schreiber, both of whom the orchestra hopes to reschedule for the 2026-27 season.
