Collage art night hosted by the St. Louis Collage Collective with materials provided at The Heavy Anchor.
The St. Louis Collage Collective is hosting a collage art night at The Heavy Anchor on Thursday, October 22, starting at 6 PM. The Collective is the group behind the whole thing, and they're the ones providing the materials, so you don't have to bring your own supplies to get started. If you've never made a collage before, that's a good place to begin—you just show up and work with what's there.
For those who do have their own favorite magazines, scraps, or photos they've been saving, you're welcome to bring them along and mix them in. The night is open to anyone, regardless of whether you've ever picked up a pair of scissors or a glue stick, so it works as a low-stakes way to spend a Thursday evening.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in St. Louis and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The Heavy Anchor is a South City bar and music venue on Gravois Avenue, open Monday through Saturday from 5 PM to 1:30 AM. The collage night kicks off at 6 PM, so you'll be there right as the bar is in full swing. It's at 5226 Gravois Ave, in the heart of South City, and since it's a bar, you can grab a drink while you work. The Collective handles the materials, and the venue provides the space, so the only thing you need to bring is yourself—and maybe some of your own clippings if you're feeling inspired.
