Nicholas Brooks brings his Christmas in Vegas show to Blue Strawberry on Thursday, December 17, at 7:30 PM. It's a holiday set from a jazz vocalist who spent two decades headlining on the Las Vegas Strip, and he's returning to the St. Louis stage with it.
Brooks has a long history with Vegas. In 2003, he began headlining the Wayne Newton Theatre at the Stardust Hotel, making him one of the youngest singers in the city's history to have his name on a Strip marquee. He spent twenty years headlining stages across Las Vegas before taking his career on the road. That touring career has taken him through Australia, France, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Switzerland, Belgium, New Zealand, and the Bahamas, and Christmas in Vegas draws on that experience.
He's been recognized early on, too. DownBeat Magazine named him Jazz Vocalist of the Year for the U.S. and Canada, and The Chicago Tribune called him one of the top rising young artists in the U.S. while he was still in college. This show is his return to Blue Strawberry, bringing that Vegas background back to St. Louis for the holiday season.

Blue Strawberry is an all-ages venue, and they serve dinner and drinks both before and during the show, with a $15 per-guest minimum. Tickets are $35, $30, and $25. Doors open at 6 PM, and the show starts at 7:30 PM.
