Cheap Trick play The Factory on the All Washed Up Tour with support from The Band Feel.
Cheap Trick are playing The Factory on Thursday, November 12, as part of their All Washed Up Tour. They'll be joined by The Band Feel, who open the bill. The show starts at 7:30 PM.
If you're not familiar with the name, Cheap Trick is a rock and roll and power pop band from Rockford, Illinois, that first made its mark in the late 1970s. They've been around a long time: the group started as Fuse in 1967, formed by Rick Nielsen and Tom Petersson, with drummer Bun E. Carlos joining a few years later. They took the name Cheap Trick when Robin Zander came on as vocalist in 1972. Their sound is built on the tunefulness of The Beatles played with the speed and energy of punk rock, and they're known for a string of hits that most people recognize even if they can't place the band — "I Want You to Want Me," "Surrender," "Dream Police," "Don't Be Cruel," and "The Flame" are among them. Their most recent release, Rockford, earned critical acclaim.
