Hard rock band Catch Your Breath plays The Hawthorn on Washington Avenue with support from TX2, Arankai and Colorblind.
Catch Your Breath bring their Not Broken Enough tour to The Hawthorn on Tuesday, October 20, with TX2, Arankai and Colorblind opening. It's a hard rock bill with four bands on one night, and the headliners are coming in from Austin, Texas.
Catch Your Breath is fronted by vocalist Josh, with guitarist Teddy, bassist Cianan and drummer Onell rounding out the group. They describe their sound as a blend of synth soundscaping, imaginative production and refined songwriting—the kind of thing that puts them closer to the melodic, textured side of hard rock than to a straightforward garage sound. Their single "Dial Tone" debuted on Sirius XM Octane radio and got coverage from Knotfest.com, so if you're familiar with that side of the scene, you've probably run into them.
They're touring behind Not Broken Enough, and the show is part of that run, with TX2, Arankai and Colorblind filling out the rest of the evening. Between the four of them, there should be plenty of ground covered before the night wraps up.
