Live show by alternative and metalcore artist ARANKAI at The Hawthorn in St. Louis.
ARANKAI plays The Hawthorn on Tuesday, October 20, with doors opening at 6 PM and the set starting at 7 PM. It's a solo bill, so the whole night is built around him.
ARANKAI is the project of Oscar, an alternative and metalcore artist from Madison, Wisconsin. He debuted in 2022 with a string of singles—'HANGMAN', 'A Good Day To D13', and 'EVERGREEN'—and has since put out metal and alternative tracks like 'CONTORTIONIST' and 'Dead Throne'. He's also stepped out of his solo work for collaborations, including 'ROME' with Dal Av and 'BLACKOUT' with the band Versus Me. His debut album, A Portrait of Red, was set to come out in 2025, so this show falls in the window of his first full-length release.

If you're heading down, there are a few things to keep in mind about the night. It's general admission and standing room only, with limited barstool seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Hawthorn is a cashless venue, so you'll need a debit or credit card for the bar—cash won't work. Doors open at 6 PM, and the music starts at 7 PM.
