A hands-on workshop where participants learn to manipulate wire to create a miniature tree, which they then adorn with semi-precious gemstone beads.
Stephanie Rose is leading a wire tree workshop at Tudor House & Garden on Sunday 4 October, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. It's a morning session, so you're in and out by lunchtime with something to show for it.
The whole thing is about working with wire to build a miniature tree from scratch. You'll learn how to manipulate the wire into a trunk and branches, and then you get to adorn it with a selection of semi-precious gemstone beads — rose quartz, amethyst, carnelian and green aventurine are on the table, so you can pick the colours you want. Beach stones form the base, and the whole thing is put together using only hand tools, which keeps it straightforward and tactile. You'll leave with your own little tree to take home.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Southampton and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
