Late night club night with urban music at Medbar in Southampton.
Urban Room Fridays Upstairs is on at Medbar this Friday, 17 July. It's the venue's late-night club night, and as the name says, the urban music is all upstairs.
Medbar is on Oxford Street in Southampton, a spot that's been running since 2013. On Friday and Saturday nights, it runs two rooms of music at once, so if you're heading in, you can switch between the two throughout the night. The Urban Room is the upstairs one, and that's where the urban music sits.
It's not the only thing the place does. During the day, they run bottomless brunches, and the schedule keeps going into the week: Latin night on Sundays, Karaoke on Wednesdays, and 2-for-1 cocktails every day from 4pm to 8pm. So if you're planning to start your Friday early, the cocktails are on before the club night kicks off.
