Ninth edition of the UK's biggest Oktoberfest celebration with live Oompah bands, DJs, Bavarian food and beer marquee.
Oktoberfest Southampton returns to Guildhall Square on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, its ninth year running. It's built around a giant Bavarian beer marquee in the heart of the city, with authentic German beer served in steins, a traditional food court doing hot food and vegan options, and a stage that hosts some of the best Oompah bands in the UK alongside DJs. Fancy dress is encouraged, with Lederhosen and Dirndls the order of the day, and the organisers say the event sells out every year.
It's strictly for over-18s. If you want to step it up, VIP tickets get you a private table, a first pint on the house, a souvenir Stein and half-price food.
