Drop-in workshop to design your own Pride placard before the SOProud march, with artists from ZEST Collective.
God's House Tower is opening its doors early on Saturday 29 August for a Pride placard-making workshop, a drop-in session to get your sign sorted before the #SOProud march. It runs from 9:00 to 11:00 in the morning, so you can get your creative juices flowing and have your banner ready to go before the day really kicks off.
Artists from ZEST Collective will be there to lead the session, and they'll provide all the materials you need to make a custom sign from scratch. If you've already got your own supplies or want to donate some, you're more than welcome to bring them along. It's a drop-in, so you can pop in for a quick one or stay for the full two hours, grab a coffee, and take your time with it.
The timing is the handy bit: God's House Tower sits on the western corner of Queen's Park, so once you've finished your placard, you're just a short walk from where the #SOProud march gets underway. You can make your sign and then head straight over to the park with it.
