Live tribute band recreating the sound and swagger of Oasis at the Northam Fan Zone.
Oasis Supernova are playing at St Mary's Stadium on Friday 18 September, with the set starting at 6:30pm. They're a tribute band, and they describe what they do as recreating the sound and swagger of Oasis, so you'll get the songs and the stage presence that go with them.
It's not a main-stand gig, though. The show is held in the Northam Fan Zone, which is the fan area just outside the stadium rather than inside the ground itself. If you're heading down, the full address is Northam Fan Zone at St Mary's Stadium, Britannia Road, Southampton SO14 5FP.
As a tribute act, the whole thing is built around the Oasis catalogue, so the set will be made up of the songs you'd expect from them. They're not playing their own material here; the focus is on the sound and the swagger they've built their act around. If you've spent any time with the original records, you'll know exactly what they're aiming for.
