Spooky Halloween celebrations at Tudor House with family-friendly ghost tours, face painting, games and a haunting trail.
Tudor House and Garden is taking over Halloween in Southampton on Friday 30 October, with a full day of spooky stuff running from 10am to 4.30pm. They've claimed the title of 'the home of Halloween in Southampton' for the day, and they're opening the doors to everyone to come and join in.
The whole thing is built around family-friendly ghost tours, which are recommended for children aged six and over. They run every half hour from 10.30am right through to 3.30pm, so you can pick a time that suits you rather than having to be there for a single start. If you're going with kids, that's the main thing to work your day around.
There's plenty more to do around the tours, too. Face painting is on the go, and there's a Halloween trail to follow through the house and garden. They've also got gruesome games running throughout the day, so if you've got a few kids with you, you can easily stretch the visit out and keep them occupied between the tours. It's a proper day out rather than a quick stop.
