Southampton's weekly Saturday day party with live DJs, cocktails and dancing all day, running from 4pm until 2am.
Medbar hosts its Daytime Clubbing session this Saturday, 11 July, from 4pm. It's a weekly fixture for the venue, and it's the only free daytime clubbing event they run, so it's one of the easier ways to get a dance on in Southampton without waiting for the midnight rush.
The music is handled by live DJs, and the set covers a broad stretch of ground. You'll hear commercial hits and cheesy anthems alongside Afrobeats, reggaeton and Latin tracks, golden oldies, club classics, R&B and hip hop, UK garage, drum and bass, Amapiano and dancehall. It's a wide-ranging mix, so it's less about one specific sound and more about a long afternoon of different styles running one into the other.

Medbar has been around since 2013, and this Saturday session runs from 4pm right through until 2am, so it's a long haul if you're in for it. If you're arriving early, there's a 2-for-1 on cocktails across the full menu between 4pm and 8pm, which is a good way to ease into the afternoon before the dance floor takes over. Entry is free, and it's on every Saturday, so if you can't make this one, there's another one the following week.
