Club Classics Orchestra Presents: R&B Orchestra

Club Classics Orchestra are bringing their R&B Orchestra to Guildhall Square on Friday 30 October, from 5:30pm to 11:00pm. They describe it as a 90s and 00s R&B experience reimagined live, and that's exactly what it is: a night of R&B anthems from those two decades played back with a live orchestra. The set draws on hits from Usher, Ashanti, Lauryn Hill, TLC, Destiny's Child, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson and Drake, so it covers a fair stretch of ground across the era.

The night is built around a 90-minute headline performance, which is flanked by DJs and live musicians. There's a special guest appearance too, though they're still to be announced, and the stage will have dancers and entertainers. It's not just the music, either — there are festival-style extras on site, including glitter and hair-braiding stalls, and the whole thing takes place inside a fully produced indoor event marquee in the square.

Tickets range from £16.50 to £329.97, and the night runs from 5:30pm to 11:00pm at Guildhall Square, Southampton SO14 7FP.
