A hands-on workshop for ages four and over where participants use clay, powder paint and accessories to create their own clay pumpkins.
Art for All: Clay Pumpkins returns to Southampton City Art Gallery on Friday 30 October, a hands-on workshop for anyone aged four and over. It's back by popular demand as a classic session, so if you've done it before, you'll recognise the setup: working with clay, powder paint and accessories to make your own pumpkin and give it a personality of its own.
The session is run with step-by-step guidance, but there's plenty of room for imagination, so you can take yours in whatever direction you like. It's open to adults too, who book a participant ticket if they're making their own. If you're coming along just to support a young person, you can book a free accompanying adult ticket instead. The whole thing is run by Southampton Cultural Services and Southampton Museums and Gallery.

There are three sessions to choose from throughout the day: 10.30am to 12noon, 12.30pm to 2pm and 2.30pm to 4pm, so you can pick the one that fits your schedule best. Tickets are £8.00 per participating child or adult, and the free accompanying adult ticket is only for those bringing a participant. You'll find the gallery on Commercial Road, Southampton, Hampshire SO14 7LP.
