A workshop to create a Christmas wreath from scratch, with wine and grazing platters included.
Plantology are running a Christmas wreath making class at Halifax Hall Hotel on Thursday 10 December, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. It's part of the University of Sheffield's Christmas programme, and the whole thing is run in collaboration with Plantology, a florist that's taking the class to a few different spots across the city around the same time.
The evening is built around making your own wreath from scratch. You'll start with the basics and work your way through until you've got a finished Christmas wreath to take home, so it's a good one if you've never done anything like this before. While you're working, there are festive treats and drinks served, so it's as much about the social side as it is about the making. You can bring a friend along and work on your wreaths together, and you'll both leave with something you've actually made yourself.
If this particular date doesn't work, there are other options. Plantology is holding the class on two other dates at Halifax Hall, and they're also running it at INOX, so you've got a bit of choice if you're trying to fit it around your December schedule. The one at Halifax Hall runs from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, which is a decent slot for a weekday evening.

It costs £65 per person, and that includes the wine and grazing platters that come with it. The venue is Halifax Hall Hotel on Endcliffe Vale Road, S10 3ER, so it's up in the Endcliffe area of Sheffield. It runs from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday 10 December.
