A live performance by the funk-soul band Tom McGuire & The Brassholes at the O2 Academy 2 in Sheffield.
Tom McGuire & The Brassholes are playing O2 Academy 2 in Sheffield on Saturday 17 April 2027. They're a funk-soul band, and the Sheffield date is part of a run of new UK tour dates they've scheduled for April 2027.
If you're not familiar with them, the name gives a fair hint of what they're about. The 'Brassholes' part points to a horn section at the heart of their sound, and the funk-soul label tells you where the groove sits. It's the kind of music that leans on a tight rhythm section and a bright brass line, so it's a set built for a live room rather than a studio recording.

They're touring these dates across the UK throughout April, and Sheffield is one of the stops. It's a full band on stage, not a stripped-back version, so you'll get the horns and the full funk-soul sound they're known for. The Sheffield show is on Saturday 17 April at O2 Academy 2.
