Free in-person forum for church leaders and children, youth and families workers across Yorkshire on supporting children's emotional and mental wellbeing.
TLG are holding their Yorkshire Partnership Forum at City Life International Church on Wednesday 18 November, from 10 am to 1 pm. It's a three-hour session in person, and lunch is provided.
TLG is a Christian charity that works with local churches to support children struggling with their emotional and mental wellbeing. They do this through a few different programmes: 'Make Lunch' clubs, which are just that — lunch clubs for kids — and 'Early Intervention' coaching in schools. The forum is aimed at church leaders and children, youth and families workers across Yorkshire, so it's geared towards people already doing this kind of work in their own communities.
If you're in that line of work, it's a chance to hear how they operate and see how they partner with churches. The whole thing runs for three hours, and you'll get lunch while you're there. Everyone who attends also gets a free copy of The TLG Story, a book about the charity's Yorkshire origins, so you can take a bit of the background home with you.
