Intimate back-to-back night of Americana storytelling, ballads and live strings from The Sam Chase Trio at Cafe No9.
The Sam Chase Trio play Cafe No9 on Wednesday 4 November, the first of two back-to-back nights. They're hailing from San Francisco, California, and they bring their music, stories and songs across the Atlantic to a room that holds only 40 people, so the live experience is intentionally intimate.
Frontman Sam Chase is a natural storyteller who treats audiences to soul-baring ballads, while Devon McClive and Chandra Johnson add passionate musicianship. Together they blend modern Americana with storytelling, powerful strings and elegant harmonies. It's a small room, so you'll be close to the stage for the whole thing.
The Sheffield dates are presented by Cafe No9 itself. The venue has disabled access but no disabled toilets. The shows are open to all ages, with under-14s needing to be accompanied by an adult.

Doors open at 19:00 and the music starts at 19:30. General admission is £20, with a £2 booking fee on top. Since it's the first of two nights, you've got a second chance if you can't make the Wednesday.
