Alternative vampire soiree with live sets from HannahCan'tPlay and the DJ duo Cowgirls From Hell, hosted at Oli Sykes' venue.
The Immortal Masquerade takes over Church The Temple Of Fun on Friday 23 October, a spooky edition of the Deadly Alt Ball series. The night is built around HannahCan'tPlay, who plays electric violin, and the DJ duo Cowgirls From Hell, with the music running until 2am.
There's a bit of a backstory here. The whole thing grew out of the violin covers of metalcore and emo songs that HannahCan'tPlay posts to TikTok, and this is the live version of that. The venue is owned by alt music legend Oli Sykes, and the organisers describe it as one of the most visually appealing and inclusive spaces they've worked with.
It's not just about the music, though. Throughout the night, Zoe runs a vampire-themed pub quiz, there's a crafting corner, and a 'Best Dressed Bloodsucker' competition. The winner of that one walks away with two tickets to The Cursed Circus Ball in April. Kieran is on photos, so there'll be a record of who actually bothered to dress up.

On that front, the dress code leans towards alternative formalwear, and masquerade masks are encouraged, though not required. It's strictly 18+ with valid ID. Tickets start from £20, and the night kicks off at 21:00, running through to Saturday 24 October. You'll find it at Church The Temple Of Fun, Osborn Works, 4A Rutland Way, Sheffield, S3 8DG.
