The Fright Crawl | Sheffield's Hottest Halloween Bar Crawl 2026

The Fright Crawl returns to Sheffield on Friday 30 October, running from 7:30 PM until 2 AM. It's an open-format walking crawl that takes you across the city's top nightlife spots, with a host leading the group from one venue to the next. Along the way, there are eerie drink specials at the bars, and you'll get a crawl map to keep track of where you're heading. Live DJs spin Halloween classics all night, and the whole thing wraps up at a final haunted venue.

It's built as a social one rather than a fixed itinerary, so you can move at your own pace through the city's nightlife. The host keeps the group together, but the open format means you're not tied to a strict timetable. The DJs keep the Halloween classics going throughout the night, and the crawl map lets you see the route as you go. The whole thing ends at a final haunted venue, so the night doesn't just fizzle out when the walking stops.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind. A wristband is required for entry to all venues except the first stop, so you'll want to make sure you've got yours sorted before you set off. Numbers are limited to 800 attendees, so it's not an open-ended affair. The organisers describe it as Sheffield's number one Halloween bar crawl and the city's hottest Halloween celebration, and it's been voted Sheffield's #1 Halloween Bar Crawl Experience.

It kicks off at 7:30 PM and runs until 2 AM, so it's a proper full night. There's no cover charge, and the venues are spread across the city's nightlife spots, with the final stop being a haunted venue. If you're planning on it, just remember the wristband for the later stops and the 800-person cap.
