Golden Buzzer and Britain's Got Talent finalist Ted Hill brings his multimedia comedy show to The Steamworks.
Ted Hill brings his show The Steamworks to The Steamworks in Sheffield on Tuesday 20 April 2027. If you've come across him from Britain's Got Talent, you'll know he's the one who bagged the Golden Buzzer and made it through to the finals. This is the act he's built around that, and it's a bit more than your standard stand-up set.
The Steamworks is a high-energy show that mixes stand-up with multimedia, over-engineered technology and PowerPoint comedy. It's a lot of moving parts working together rather than just a comic with a mic. Hill draws on his own experiences as an autistic person and his passion for birds of prey, so the material comes from a very specific place. He's performed his own version of the show he would have given to the King at the Royal Variety Performance, so this is the full-strength version of the act.
He's picked up some high praise along the way, too. Simon Cowell called him 'one of the funniest acts we've ever seen', and Ant and Dec described the show as 'clever, innovative, and hilarious'. It's recommended for ages 10 and over, so it works as a night out with younger ones as well as a proper comedy evening.
