A guided, all-ages workshop to de-stress by upcycling materials into printed Christmas wrapping paper, tags and home decorations.
Making Space Creative are running a DIY Christmas wrapping workshop at AALFY on Thursday 10 December, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. It's a guided session where you make your own printed wrapping paper, tags and decorations by upcycling materials, and also put together some simple card decorations for the home. The whole thing is pitched as a way to unwind and get your festive prep sorted in a chill, stress-free setting, rather than the usual December rush.
They've framed it as a chance to de-stress with friends and celebrate the season with creativity and sustainability, so it's as much about the process as the things you take home. All the materials are included, and the session runs for two and a half hours, which is plenty of time to work through the different parts without feeling rushed. It's open to all ages, so it works whether you're coming on your own, bringing a friend, or turning it into a family thing.
