Static Lives Farewell Show

Static Lives are playing their farewell show at Sidney & Matilda on Friday 23 October. It's their final date in Sheffield, and they're sharing the bill with Mad Love and SHWHW, so the night starts well before they take the stage.

For anyone who's followed them, the title says it all. This is the farewell show, the last time they'll be playing here. It's a bit of a milestone for a Sheffield band to call it a day on their home turf, and having Mad Love and SHWHW on the bill means there's more than one act to see before the main set. If you've caught them before, this is the chance to see them one last time in the city.

Sidney & Matilda is in the city centre, at Rivelin Works on Sidney Street, so it's easy enough to get to. Doors open at 7:45pm, and the whole thing runs through to 10:30pm, giving plenty of room for the support acts to play out before Static Lives take over. It's a full evening's worth of music rather than a quick turn around.

Tickets are £8 in advance, and that includes a vinyl to take home, which is a nice thing to have after the band's finished. If you're planning on going, it's worth getting yours sorted early. Doors open at 7:45pm, and the night runs until 10:30pm at Sidney & Matilda, 46 Sidney St, Sheffield S1 4RH.
