All-night soul club night by Soul Mass Transit System, part of his 'All Night Long' intimate tour, for over-18s.
Soul Mass Transit System returns to Plot 22 on Friday 6 November, taking over the night for a single, extended session. It's part of his 'All Night Long' intimate tour, a series of stripped-back club nights he's taking across the country, and this one lands in Sheffield as a full-night affair.
If you're not familiar with the name, the 'All Night Long' format tells you exactly what to expect: one DJ on for the whole stretch, rather than a rotating line-up of support acts. It's a stripped-back approach that puts the focus on the music and the flow of the night, and since it's a soul session, that means the dancefloor stays the centre of attention from start to finish. The 'intimate' part of the tour title points to the kind of night where the room stays tight and the music does the heavy lifting, rather than a big production.

It's a late one, running from 23:00 through to 04:00, so you'll want to clear your Saturday morning. The venue is Plot 22, at 20-22 Exchange Street, S2 5TS, right in the city centre. One thing to keep in mind before you head down: the night is strictly for over-18s, and you'll need photo ID at the door to get in, so don't leave yours at home. With the music going until 4am, it's a proper all-nighter in the middle of Sheffield.
