Free night of live DJ sets by Side5tep, Linga Sound, Joi La, Frique, Sirrey, Ashley Grimshaw and Holon at Grub Records.
Side5tep are hosting a residents and friends night at Grub Records on Saturday 24 October, with Linga Sound taking the main spot. It's a live music session that runs from 21:00 and carries through into Sunday morning, so it's more of a late one than a standard evening gig.
Linga Sound leads the bill, and the night brings together a fair few names on one stage. Along with them, you'll find Joi La Frique, Sirrey, Ashley Grimshaw and Holon. With five acts in the mix, it's a full line-up for a single night, and the session is billed as a live music event rather than just a DJ night, so you'll be hearing people actually playing.
Grub Records is over in Lowfield, at 586 Queens Road, S2 4DU. If you're coming from the city centre, it's a bit of a trek out to that part of Sheffield, so it's worth keeping the location in mind before you set off. The session starts at 21:00 on Saturday and runs into Sunday morning, so you can arrive whenever suits you best and stay as late as you like.

Entry is free, so there's no ticket to book in advance—you just turn up. Between the free entry and the late start, it's an easy one to drop into on a Saturday night.
