Sheffield Plate Kids Halloween Haunted Disco!

Sheffield Plate is hosting a kids' Halloween disco on Sunday 25 October, from 2pm to 4pm. It's billed as the city centre's biggest kids' Halloween disco, and it runs downstairs in the venue's private event room, with a lift available for anyone who needs it.

The afternoon pairs a spooky soundtrack with spooky games, and there are prizes for the best fancy dress, so it's one of those things where getting the kids dressed up is half the point. While the little ones are on the dancefloor, there's a coffee kiosk serving hot drinks for the grown-ups and soft drinks for the children, which makes it a bit easier to survive a couple of hours of high-energy dancing.

The disco is part of Sheffield Plate's Children's Activities collection, and it sits alongside their 'Kids Eat Free' offer across the half-term week, from 25 October to 2 November. That offer gives children aged 12 and under a free meal from the same kitchen as the paying adults' main course, so if you're planning to stay on for food after the disco, it's a handy thing to keep in mind. Between the two, it's a decent way to fill a half-term afternoon without spending a fortune.

Entry is free, and the disco runs from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 25 October at Sheffield Plate, 31-33 Orchard Square, Sheffield City Centre, S1 2FB.
