Country night with two tribute acts, Luke Combs UK and Morgan Wallen Tribute UK, each with their own full live band at Network 14.
Sheffield Goes Country brings two of the biggest names in modern country to Network on Saturday 19 December, with Luke Combs UK and Morgan Wallen Tribute UK sharing the bill. It's a double-header that pairs two of the world's leading tribute acts on one night, each backed by their own full live band. The setlists draw from the chart-topping hits and arena-style performances that have made Combs and Wallen two of the most streamed artists in the genre.
Having both acts on the same bill means you get two distinct takes on the modern country sound in one evening. Luke Combs UK handles the Combs side of things, and Morgan Wallen Tribute UK takes on the Wallen material, and because they're each working with their own full band, the night is built around two separate live sets rather than one act switching between the two. It's a fair bit of ground to cover, and having a full band behind each one keeps the sound closer to the original records than a stripped-back acoustic version would.
The night is billed as an electrifying celebration of modern country music, and the pairing of these two particular acts puts a good chunk of the current US country charts in one room. If you've spent any time with the genre lately, you'll recognise the names and the songs they're working from.
