A double bill screening of the 2002 and 2004 Scooby-Doo films at Showroom Cinema as part of the Halloween 2026 programming.
Showroom Cinema is running a Scooby-Doo double bill on Saturday 31 October, with the two films screened back-to-back in the afternoon. It's part of their Halloween 2026 programme, so it falls right on the day.
The first half is Scooby-Doo (2002), directed by Raja Gosnell and running 1 hour 27 minutes. It's the one that took the gang from cartoons to the big screen, a live-action and animated hybrid that follows Mystery, Inc. — Shaggy (Matthew Lillard), Fred (Freddie Prinze, Jr.), Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Velma (Linda Cardellini) — as they investigate paranormal incidents at Spooky Island, a spring-break hot spot owned by Emile Mondavarious (Rowan Atkinson).
Then comes Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), also directed by Gosnell and running 1 hour 33 minutes. This one sees the gang confront an anonymous masked villain plotting to take over Coolsville with a monster machine that recreates their classic foes, while reporter Heather Jasper-Howe (Alicia Silverstone) scrutinises their detecting abilities. Between the two, you've got nearly three hours of the gang doing what they do best, with the same cast returning for the sequel.
