Night of black and thrash metal headlined by Sabbat, with Venomwolf and Aggressive Perfector, at The Lughole in Neepsend.
Sabbat play The Lughole on Thursday 22 October, with Venomwolf and Aggressive Perfector on the bill. It's a night put on by Cosmic Vibration LTD, and it brings a Japanese black/thrash metal band to Sheffield.
Sabbat formed in Japan in 1983 and have spent the years since building a following around a singular sound and a distinct musical heritage. They're a black/thrash outfit, so you've got the speed and aggression of thrash metal running alongside the darker, colder edges of black metal. If you're not familiar with them, that's the ground they've occupied since the early eighties.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. Venomwolf and Aggressive Perfector open the night, so it's a full line-up rather than a single band. With three acts in one evening, the bill leans into the same heavy, fast territory Sabbat is known for.

The gig runs from 8 pm to 11 pm at The Lughole, Harvest Lane, Neepsend, S3 8EF. That puts it over in Neepsend, so it's a bit of a trek if you're coming from the city centre, but it's a dedicated night of metal from start to finish.
