Weekly roleplaying night at The Gamers Guide Café, where volunteer Dungeon Masters run short adventures for players.
The Gamer Guide Café is running another roleplaying night on Thursday 22 October, starting at 17:30. It's in the heart of the city centre at 8 E Parade, Sheffield S1 2ET.
If you've ever been curious about Dungeons & Dragons but aren't ready to commit to a full campaign, this is exactly where you start. Every week, volunteer Dungeon Masters bring a new adventure, so you can just turn up and play a one-off session without worrying about what happens next week. It's a good way to try out different formats and rule systems beyond D&D, too, so you're not locked into one particular way of playing.
It's worth knowing that the organiser notes many of the TTRPG sessions contain horror elements, so keep that in mind if you're planning your evening. The café does more than just roleplaying, though; they run other social games like Blood on the Clocktower and The Crafty Collective, and they host board game nights and creative workshops alongside the gaming sessions, which brings together a fair mix of gamers and hobbyists.
Every week we pick đ the 5 best đ things to do in Sheffield and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
