Late-night house music session by Pyra x Residents at the 77 venue on Welbeck Street.
Pyra x Residents are back at 77 on Saturday 24 October, with A House on Fire II taking over the room. It's a DJ session from Pyra and the residents, and as the title suggests, it's the second outing under the A House on Fire banner.
If you're not familiar with the name, the setup is straightforward: Pyra on the decks alongside the residents, with the night running through the night. It's a DJ-led session rather than a live band, so the focus is on the selection and the flow of the set. The A House on Fire title points to the kind of house music they're working with — the sort of four-to-the-floor that keeps a dancefloor moving from the first drop through to the early hours.
It's a late one, too. The session kicks off at 23:00 on Saturday and runs right into Sunday morning, so it's more of a proper night out than a quick stop. If you're planning on staying for the whole thing, you'll be dancing well past midnight.
