Pumpkin Sip and Paint at Neon Social

Neon Social is hosting a pumpkin sip and paint on Thursday 22 October, and it's exactly what it sounds like: painting ceramic pumpkins with a drink in your hand. The night is run by The Mum Club Sheffield, and the painting side of things is handled by Brush Pottery Painting Events, who'll be on hand to guide you through it.

It's a ceramic pumpkin you're working on, not a real one, so you'll end up with something you can actually keep on your shelf long after October is over. The whole point is to take your time with it, and since it's a sip and paint, you've got a glass of prosecco or wine to keep you company while you go. There are small plates included too, so you can graze throughout the evening rather than rushing through the painting to get to the food.

It's hosted by The Mum Club Sheffield, so it's built around the idea of getting together and doing something creative in good company. If you've never done a pottery painting session before, this is a low-pressure way to start—you're painting a pumpkin, not a masterpiece, and the prosecco and small plates are part of the deal.

The night starts at 19:30 at The Park Lodge in Crookes, which is where Neon Social is running from. Entry is free, and the prosecco, wine, and small plates are included in the session. It's a Thursday evening, so it's a good one to slot in mid-week if you're fancying a creative night out in Crookes.
