Pottery Pot Painting & Cocktail Making

Pottering Around Ceramics Studio is hosting a pottery painting and cocktail making evening on Friday 27 November, with things getting underway at 6:00 PM. It's just what it sounds like: you spend the night painting pottery and making cocktails, and you do both in the same session. If you've never tried pottery painting before, it's straightforward — you take a piece of bisque-fired ceramic and paint your own design on it. The studio is in Hillsborough, so it's up in the north of the city rather than tucked away in the centre.

Combining the two is the main draw here. You'll be working on your pot and shaking up cocktails side by side, so you can switch between the painting and the drinking as you go. It's a social setup, the kind of thing that works as a night out with friends or as a bit of a treat for yourself if you fancy a creative evening that doesn't involve a screen. You'll leave with your finished piece of pottery, and you'll have had a few drinks along the way.
