Three-hour workshop to make quirky jewellery from polymer clay, covering texturing, colour blending and matching.
Silver Psaltpot is running a polymer clay jewellery workshop on Thursday 15 April 2027, from 6 pm to 9 pm. It's a three-hour session held at their studio, 3 Brincliffe Crescent, Sheffield S11 9AW, and it's all about making fun, quirky jewellery from polymer clay.
Over the course of the evening, you'll get stuck into a few different techniques. There's using various tools to create textures, blending colours together, and matching them up, and you'll come away with a number of finished pieces rather than just one. The studio describes it as fantastic for young adults and a lovely way to spend time with loved ones, so it works as a night out with friends or a bit of something to do with a partner.
It's worth knowing where this fits into the bigger picture at Silver Psaltpot. The studio runs ongoing morning, afternoon and evening jewellery classes taught using traditional silver jewellery making methods, and these workshops are offered as a way to get a feel for jewellery making before signing up for a full block. Both the classes and the workshops are recommended as gifts for friends or family, so if you're not going yourself, it's one to keep in mind for someone else.
