Paul Heaton performs live from his 2026 UK tour, presenting his new album 'Jenius' with special guests Lightning Seeds and regular vocalist Rianne Downey.
Paul Heaton plays Utilita Arena Sheffield on Friday 6 November, part of a UK tour running through October and November. He's not on his own: his regular live vocalist Rianne Downey is with him, and Lightning Seeds are special guests on all the dates.
The set will draw from across his career, with songs from his solo work alongside classics from The Beautiful South and The Housemartins. It's a broad reach, so you'll hear things from different eras of his writing in one night.
He arrives with a new album, Jenius, which came out on 21 August. It's his 23rd, containing 15 new original songs, and it arrives almost exactly 40 years after his first, The Housemartins' London 0 Hull 4. Ian Broudie of Lightning Seeds produced it, and it was recorded at Blueprint Studios in Manchester. The new single 'Favourite Kind Of Idiot' is already out, and Irish singer-songwriter Declan O'Rourke adds vocals to 'The Whisky Did'.
