Emo club night where fans of the genre dance to the music into the early hours.
Panic At The Emo are coming to Church The Temple Of Fun on Friday 20 November, part of a tour taking the night across the country. It's an emo club night, so rather than a single band playing a set, the music runs throughout the evening, and the floor stays open well into the early hours.
They describe the night as one that invites you to dust off your Converse and fish out your MCR t-shirt, and that pretty much sums up the whole thing. It's a nostalgia trip for anyone who spent their teenage years in that particular corner of the 2000s, with the music carrying the room from the start and through to the early hours of Saturday morning. If you've still got your old MySpace-era favourites on a playlist, this is the night to hear them played out loud.
Church The Temple Of Fun is at Osborn Works, 4A Rutland Way, Sheffield S3 8DG. It's a club night, not a seated concert, so you'll be on your feet for most of it. The music starts at 10:00pm and runs until 2:00am, with the emo tracks keeping things going the whole way through.
