Old Skool Bingo

Old Skool Bingo comes to ONYX Nightclub on Saturday 23 January, and it's not your usual bingo night. The promoters describe it as their own twist on the classic bingo hall: a night of RnB-inspired fun and games that trades the quiet of the village hall for a nightclub floor. Instead of hushed voices and dabbers, you've got a dancefloor and a sound system, with the bingo rounds running alongside crazy games and ridiculous challenges. Prizes and surprises are scattered throughout the night, so there's more to it than just crossing off numbers.

Musically, the evening mixes old-school classics with modern bangers, and it's all fronted by an MC who runs the bingo rounds and keeps the energy going between them. The RnB influence runs through the whole thing, so if that's your sound, you'll find plenty to hold onto. It's as much about the games and the crowd as it is about the music, with the bingo acting as the thread that ties the night together.

It runs from 6pm to 9pm at ONYX Nightclub, on Rockingham Street in Sheffield City Centre, S1 4EA. Tickets start from £19.80, and entry is restricted to over-18s.
