Halloween special of Old Skool Bingo, a bingo night turned dancefloor with club anthems, games, challenges and a fancy-dress element.
Old Skool Bingo is taking over ONYX Nightclub on Saturday 31 October, and as the date suggests, this one is a Halloween Special. If you've never come across it, the basic idea is that they turn a traditional bingo game into a dancefloor experience built on club anthems, competitive spirit and singalongs. It's not the kind of bingo where you sit quietly with a dabber; the format pairs high-energy bingo rounds with an MC at the helm, crazy games and ridiculous challenges, and prizes and surprises scattered throughout the night.
The soundtrack is a broad one, running from RnB and Hip Hop to classic party hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, so you'll hear a fair few songs you know by heart. The Halloween Special adds a fancy-dress element to the mix, and guests are encouraged to turn up in their most creative or frightening costumes to compete for special rewards on the night. It's a good excuse to actually put a costume together rather than just throwing on a pair of cat ears.
