Live music session at The Fat Cat in Kelham Island, part of the monthly series exploring Sheffield's pub culture.
The Fat Cat is the focus of the October Pub of the Month on Thursday 22 October, with live music starting at 19:00. The pub is at 23 Alma Street in Kelham Island, Sheffield S3 8SA.
This is part of a monthly series that takes you around Sheffield's pub culture, one local favourite at a time. Each month a different pub takes the spotlight, and this time it's The Fat Cat's turn. The idea is to get people out exploring the city's pubs and socialising after work, with the music as the draw.
If you're not already familiar with the spot, The Fat Cat is right in the heart of Kelham Island, so it's easy enough to get to. The music kicks off at 19:00, which makes it a proper after-work thing — you can head over straight from the office, grab a drink, and settle in for the evening. It's a live session, so you'll be hearing music in the room rather than a recording on the speakers.

Because it's part of a series, this is just one stop in a longer run of pub visits across the city. If you've been following along, you'll know the focus shifts every month, and this October it lands here. The Fat Cat is the pub of the month, the music starts at 19:00 on Thursday 22 October, and it's all at 23 Alma Street, Kelham Island, Sheffield S3 8SA.
