Spooky Halloween craft and trail activities for children at Sheffield Manor Lodge during the October half term.
Sheffield Manor Lodge is running Halloween craft and trail activities during the October half term, from Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 October, 10am to 4pm each day. It's a few days rather than a single afternoon, so you can pick whichever date works best for you.
The activities are held at the Lodge itself, a heritage site whose grounds include the historic Turret House. It's not usually open during the week — it's open to the public on Sundays from 10:30am to 4pm between April and September, and opens Monday to Thursday for children's crafts during Sheffield school holidays, as well as for special events. This is one of those holiday slots, so it's a good chance to get into the grounds when they're normally closed.
If you're planning to stay for a while, there are drinks and snacks at the Discovery Centre, and you're welcome to bring a picnic into the grounds. The nearby Rhubarb Shed Café is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 3pm, and they take table bookings by email. Parking is free on site at Sheffield Manor Lodge, with extra spaces over at Manor Oaks House. Just a heads-up that only assistance dogs are allowed.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Sheffield and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It costs £5 per child taking part in the activities, and entry is free for all adults and any children who aren't joining in, though donations are appreciated. The activities run from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 October, at Sheffield Manor Lodge, 197 Manor Lane, Sheffield, S2 1UJ.
