Mosaic Your Own Christmas Ornaments

Lily's Studio is hosting a mosaic ornament workshop on Sunday 6 December, over in the Kelham Arcade. It's a hands-on session for adults aged 18 and over, and you'll leave with a set of two Christmas ornaments you've made yourself.

There's no need for any previous experience. You'll be working with ceramic and stained glass tiles, and the studio provides all the materials you need, along with step-by-step guidance to get you through it. The session runs for around three hours, so you've got plenty of time to take your time with the tiling and get the details right rather than rushing to finish. By the end of the morning, you'll have two handmade ornaments to take home and hang on your own tree.

It's a morning session, and the studio rounds things off with tea, coffee, biscuits and mince pies, so it's as much about the social side as the making. The workshop is run by Jess, and it's held at Lily's Studio, Kelham Arcade, 92 Burton Road, Neepsend, Sheffield S3 8DA.

Doors open at 9:50am, and the workshop begins promptly at 10am, running for around three hours. Tickets are £42.00.
