Meet the Brewer with Bluntrock Brewery

Bluntrock Brewery are taking over The Wonky Labrador on Thursday 19 November, with George and Simon from the brewery running the night. It's a 'Meet the Brewer' evening, so the two of them will be there in person rather than just sending their beer along. They're bringing seven of their beers to pour, and the night includes pizza from Porter, so it's a full sit-down affair rather than just a few pints at the bar.

If you're not familiar with the venue, The Wonky Labrador is a cosy Sheffield bar that keeps a steady stream of regular and featured nights going. It's the kind of place that programmes everything from quiz nights and customer-suggested film nights to Mental Health Mondays, so this fits right in with the sort of thing they do. The brewery is based here in the city, and having the people behind the beer in the room gives you a chance to ask them about how they make it, what they're working on, and why they do things the way they do.

The seven beers will be the main focus of the night, and with George and Simon there to talk them through, you can get the story behind each one. The pizza from Porter is part of the package, so you've got your food sorted as well. It's a three-hour window, from 7pm to 10pm, which gives you plenty of time to work your way through the beers without having to rush.

Tickets are £38.62, and the whole thing runs from 7pm to 10pm on Thursday 19 November at The Wonky Labrador, 212 Oakbrook Road, Sheffield S11 7ED, South Yorkshire.
