Macy Gray - the Trouble with the Truth Tour

Macy Gray plays Sheffield City Hall (Memorial Hall) on Wednesday 4 November, part of her The Trouble with the Truth Tour. It's a mid-week date, so you'll need to clear a Wednesday evening for it.

If you're not familiar, Gray is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter, musician and record producer, best known for the raspy voice that made her a star. Her breakthrough came with the 1999 single 'I Try', and she's built her reputation on candid songwriting that resonates deeply with listeners, pairing that distinctive voice with a grip on soul and a funky spirit that sets her apart from her contemporaries. The Sheffield show is one stop on The Trouble with the Truth Tour, so you'll be hearing her as part of a wider run of dates.

On the night, it's Macy Gray on the bill. The venue is the Memorial Hall inside Sheffield City Hall, over at Barker's Pool, Sheffield S1 2JA. Doors open at 19:00, and tickets are £63.85 including fees.
