Louis O'Hara and His Burley Chassis play Sidney and Matilda, with Serafima & The Shakedowns and Gem Stark.
Louis O'Hara and His Burley Chassis play Sidney and Matilda on Monday 26 October, with Serafima & The Shakedowns and Gem Stark supporting. O'Hara is a singer-songwriter from West Wales whose songs combine intimate folk songwriting with richly atmospheric arrangements, and he's toured the UK three times since his debut album, A Peaceful Kind of Fun (Libertino Records, 2025), came out. Clash called it 'quietly magical', Hard of Hearing described it as 'an outstanding debut album', and The Guardian called his music 'unusually touching and truly lovely'. He's already finished a second album, which he describes as darker and more cinematic, and it's due early next year.
Serafima & The Shakedowns draw on Johnny and June Carter Cash, Kimya Dawson, Lily Allen, Dan Reeder and Cake, and they've built up to a six-piece lineup over the last few years: drummer Jules Tennyson joined in 2023, trumpet player Finn O'Hea in 2025, and second drummer Ian Davidson in 2026. Gem Stark is known for moth-bitten folk tendencies rooted in the Peak District.
