Beginner-friendly line dancing session with country hits and drinks at Cactus Jack's Honky-Tonk, an 18+ venue.
Line-dancing is back at Cactus Jack's Honky-Tonk on Thursday 29 October, from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. It's a two-hour session in the city centre, and if you've never tried it, it's a straightforward place to start.
The night is built around a high-energy, interactive party atmosphere, with experienced line dancers guiding everyone step-by-step. Because they walk you through the moves as you go, it's pitched at beginners just as much as at people who already have a few steps under their belt. You don't need to turn up knowing a thing; you just follow along with the crowd.
Country hits play throughout the night, with drinks flowing and Nashville vibes running through the whole thing. The venue is Cactus Jack's Honky-Tonk, billed as Sheffield's only country bar, so the music fits the room. It's at 176 Devonshire St, right in the city centre, which makes it an easy one to get to on a Thursday night.

There are a couple of practical things to keep in mind before you head in. The venue works a strict 18+ age restriction, and last entry is 7:45, so if you're coming from work or meeting friends, you'll want to be there a bit before the 8:00pm start. Tickets are £6 to £11.
