A networking event with live music, presented as a 2000s nostalgia party for professionals and entrepreneurs.
Limewired Network 2 is coming to Network on Friday 5 February, and it's a bit of a double-sided night. Presented by Blazin Entertainment, it's billed as a networking event for professionals, entrepreneurs, startup founders and networking enthusiasts, with a focus on entrepreneurship, conferences, meetups, startups and technology. If that sounds like your usual crowd, it's a good chance to meet people in those circles right here in Sheffield. The organisers describe it as thoughtfully curated for attendees in the city, so it's aimed at the local scene rather than a touring crowd.
But there's a second side to the evening that puts it in a different light: it's also a 2000s nostalgia party. So while the networking side brings together the professional and tech crowd, the music side looks back at the early noughties. It's a bit of a mix, then — a night for talking shop and making connections, and a night for the music of twenty odd years ago.

Network is at 14 Matilda St in the city centre, and the night runs from 8:00pm on Friday 5 February through to 1:00am on Saturday 6 February. It's an 18+ event, so you'll need to be over eighteen to get in. If you're into the startup and tech side of things, it's a straightforward one to keep in mind for a Friday night in February.
