Life drawing session working from a nude model with a long pose, suitable for adults of all abilities.
Millennium Gallery is running a long pose life drawing session on Friday 23 October, from 10:30am to 12:30pm. It's part of their wider life drawing programme, which also includes a 'Life Drawing for Beginners' session if you're just starting out. The workshops run across the term, from Friday 24 July to Friday 18 December 2026, and they're designed to develop your drawing skills working from a nude model, with support on hand from one of the museum's regular artist tutors.
Throughout the term, they use a mix of models and alternate between short and long poses, so this particular session is one of the longer ones. Basic materials are provided, though you're encouraged to bring your own if you have a particular set you prefer. The sessions are open to adults of all abilities, so it doesn't matter if you're a seasoned hand or haven't picked up a pencil in years.
