Free guided wellness walk along the Sheffield & Tinsley Canal towpaths, suitable for adults and supervised children from seven years old.
Let's Walk! Sheffield Wellness Walks are back on the towpaths of the Sheffield & Tinsley Canal, with a session running on Thursday 10 December from 11am to 1pm. The walks are guided by walk leaders along the canal's towpaths, and they're set up as a relaxing step into nature, with the chance to meet others and make new friends along the way. It's a slow-paced way to spend a morning, and you'll pick up some local history as you go, with wildlife to spot around the waterways.
They're easy-grade walks, so they're suitable for adults and for supervised children from seven years old upwards, with parents and guardians required to accompany them. Each one runs for around two hours, and they're free to attend as part of the Canal & River Trust's 'Let's Activity' campaign, a waterways and wellbeing initiative that aims to get people out and active by the water.
